Contributed Papers

 

Presentation type:

 

(a) Regular presentation: Atleast one author must attend conference and present paper

 

(b) In-absentia presentation: Those who cannot come to Bangkok, can submit paper for presentation In-absentia. Papers presented in absentia are eligible to be included in the conference proceedings. Abstracts of papers will be printed in the program bulletin and the author who registers in absentia will be sent the conference CD and the conference bulletin.

 

Steps for Paper Submission:

 

(a) Abstract Submission:

  • A brief abstract (not exceeding 100 words) should be submitted online by June 30, 2013. The abstract should ideally be submitted by the author who intends to make presentation at the conference.

  • By submitting an abstract, the author makes a good faith commitment to present his/her paper at the conference.

  • The abstract should clearly indicate the contribution made by the paper to the existing body of knowledge.

(b) Abstract Acceptance:

Notification of accepted papers will be sent within two weeks of receipt of the abstract. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Abstracts written in poor style, with grammatical problems, longer than 100 words, or that do not clearly indicate the contribution made to the body of knowledge cannot be accepted.

(c) Late Abstract Submission:

Abstract after June 30, 2013 can be considered only if submitted with registration.

(d) Registration:

 

One of the authors must pre-register for the conference by July 31 to ensure inclusion of the paper in the conference program. Without pre-registration, papers cannot be included in the conference program. This is done to minimize no-shows at the conference.

 

(e) Full Paper Submission for the proceedings:

  • Papers adhering to prescribed requirements will be eligible for publication in the conference proceedings (in CD-ROM) with ISBN subject to a page limitation. The deadline for submission of complete papers for consideration for the proceeding is July 31, 2013. Authors are not required to submit complete papers unless they are submitting for publication in the proceedings.

  • One of the authors must pre-register for the conference within one week after acceptance to ensure inclusion of the paper in the conference program. Without pre-registration, papers cannot be included in the conference program. This is done to minimize no-shows at the conference.

  • International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management (www.ijoqm.org) and AIMS International Journal of Management (www.aims-international.org/aimsijm) may publish selected papers or publish a special issues of selected papers that are presented in the conference. The details will be sent to the presenters. 

 

Important Dates:

  • Abstract Submission - June 30,2013

  • Full paper submission - July 31, 2013
